There’s quite nothing that announces the start of summer than an ice cold mixed cocktail. I’ve been making a lot of Moscow Mules lately. It’s the easiest cocktail you could make: a squeeze or two of lime juice, some vodka, and ginger beer served with mint and ice cubes. It’s delicious, refreshing, and the ginger beer masks the taste of the alcohol. We absolutely love it!
I put a twist on it. Instead of using straight vodka, I use a half cup of Austin Cocktails Cucumber Vodka Mojito.
This vodka mojito bottle has everything that I need, and it complements the flavors of a Moscow mule so well. In addition to vodka, there is cucumber, mint, lime, and agave for sweetness.
If you can find it at your local grocery store or liquor store, use it to make your Moscow Mule. You won’t be disappointed.
We’ve enjoyed our Mulejito’s in both a classic Moscow Mule copper mug, and in a normal glass. I don’t why but the copper mug just adds so much more. Maybe it keeps the drink colder, or makes it more refreshing … or it could all be in my head… but if you can use a copper mug, do so! It just tastes so much better in one.
This is the perfect boozy summer drink.
